Terms and Conditions – Cineworld ‘Wild Robot’ Prize Draw
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By entering into this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
2. Participants
Entrants must be UK residents and must be 18 years old or over to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Spark Marketing Services Limited, W&J Linney, NBC Universal Ltd, Element London Ltd or their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw.
3. How to Enter
To enter the Prize Draw, entrants simply need to:
1. Book a ticket / tickets for Wild Robot Film online at www.cineworld.co.uk. Entrants will then receive a booking confirmation email from Cineworld, which will provide a booking reference number.
2. Visit the Wild Robot promotional website https://promotion.cineworld.co.uk/wild-robot-trip (“microsite”) and enter the booking reference number as well as the entrant’s full name and email address.
Entries will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language, ii) include the names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the grounds of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners.
Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
Cineworld is unable to accept entries other than via the microsite. Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 00:01 Friday 4th October (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Thursday 31st of October (the “Closing Date”).
4. The Draw
All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and one (1) winner will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the Closing Date.
The winner will be contacted by Cineworld within fourteen (14) days of the draw taking place.
Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld's decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity. Entrants’ details will not be passed on or used for any data purposes and destroyed once the competition has ended and a winner is announced.
5. The Prize
Prize Details
The Winner will receive:
· one (1) package holiday consisting of three (3) nights, at a luxury tree house in Horten, Norway for two (2) adults and two (2) children under sixteen (16) years old, in total four (4) persons (“Holiday Prize”).
The Prize will be provided by: Element London Limited.
The Holiday Prize includes:
· Airfare: Roundtrip flights from major international airports in London to Oslo, Norway;
· Rental Car: For 4 days to be picked up / dropped off at Oslo airport,including GPS hire, comprehensive insurance for named driver and £150 fuel allowance;
· Accommodation: 3 nights’ luxury treehouse accommodation in Horten, based on sharing a quadruple occupancy space. Includes cooking facilities and breakfast;
· Treetop Adventure Park: (approximately 3 hours) includes professional guides and all equipment;
· Guided Stand-Up Paddleboard Wilderness Safari: (2 hours) includes professional guide and all equipment;Provided by SeaBreeze
· Wild Foraging Tour and Cook-out Experience: (approximately 4 hours) includes professional guides and all equipment from the Norwegian Mushroom and Useful Plants AssociationAdmission to Science & Technology Museum. Includes entry to all museum exhibitions and activities
Holiday Prize - Terms and Conditions:
- Prize is for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old;
- The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;
- At least two travellers must be aged 18 or over; anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel;
- Economy roundtrip flights from major international airports in London (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to Oslo, Norway.Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available. Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;
- Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and London departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;
- A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation;
- Accommodation based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old sharing a quadruple occupancy treehouse accommodation in Horten, Norway for 3 nights;
- Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion;
- Accommodation for the winner and guests does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the winner and guests;
- The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;
- All elements of the prize are subject to availability. If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion;
- The winner must contact the prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;
- All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time;
- Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;
- Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash alternative is available;
- All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests;
- The prize cannot be taken from 21st December 2024 – 4th January 2025 (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday;
- Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time;
- For the rental car, the car type is subject to availability, the named driver must be aged 21 or over, with a full clean driving license that has been held for over one year, any drivers aged 25 or under, or with less than three years’ driving experience, may need to pay a supplementary cost for car rental. If a driving license is not fully printed in English an International Driving Permit/ international driver’s license or other paperwork may be required. Acredit card (not a debit card) in the name of the driver with available funds (value advised upon booking) will be required by the car rental company in order for the driver to collect the car. The cost of standard level insurance for the car rental is included in the prize for the named driver only. The named driver (not Cineworld or the Prize Provider) will be responsible for any uninsured damage and liabilities arising from or in connection with the car rental. Where available, the named driver may choose to purchase loss damage waiver(s) and/or additional levels of insurance/protections in relation to the car rental, at their own cost;
- For the high ropes park, the maximum weight is 120kg, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times. It is not suitable for those who are pregnant or those with heart, back or neck conditions / injuries. Additional age, weight and height restrictions will apply and vary by course;
- For the stand-up paddle board, the minimum age is 3 years old and all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times;
- All tour and experiences will be available in English.

6. Winner's details
The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to Wild Robot Draw, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG. Winners who wish to object to publication of their surname and county, should notify Cineworld in advance of the Closing Date by contacting [email protected] / 0330 333 4444. Further details about entrant’s rights in relation to their personal data are set out in the Cineworld Privacy Policy (available at www.cineworld.com).
7. Promoter and Promoter's Rights
The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG (“Cineworld”). Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
8. Limitation of Liability
Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Promotion.
- Exclusions
Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the Prize package is excluded.
10. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Data Protection
All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas' Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com) and only used for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and administration of the Prize.
