Terms and Conditions – Cineworld ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ Prize Draw
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By entering into this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
2. Participants
Entrants must be UK residents and must be 18 years old or over to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Spark Marketing Services Limited, W&J Linney, Universal Pictures International UK Ltd, Element London Ltd, or their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw.
3. How to Enter
To enter the Prize Draw, entrants simply need to:

How to Train Your Dragon Film online at
www.cineworld.co.uk. Entrants will then receive a booking confirmation email from Cineworld, which will provide a booking reference number.
2. Visit the Bridget Jones promotional website https://promotions.cineworld.co.uk/HTTYD (“microsite”) and enter the booking reference number as well as the entrant’s full name and email address.
Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion. (including, but not limited to, entries containing inappropriate content or names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission).
Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 00:01 Thursday 22nd May (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Thursday 19th of June 2025 (the “Closing Date”).
If entrants would like to enter the Prize Draw without purchasing a cinema ticket to How to Train Your Dragon, entrants can write to How to Train Your Dragon Prize Draw, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG, providing their name and email address. Entries by post, must be received between the Opening and Closing Date.
4. The Draw
All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and one (1) winner will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the Closing Date.
The winner will be contacted by Cineworld within fourteen (14) days of the draw taking place.
Should Cineworld be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the Prize, Cineworld reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld's decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity. Entrants’ details will not be passed on or used for any data purposes and destroyed once the competition has ended and a winner is announced.
5. The Prize
Prize Details
Prize package for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old includes:
· Airfare: Roundtrip flights from London, UK to Copenhagen, Denmark
· Rental Car: For 4 days, to be collected/returned to Copenhagen International Airport. Incl. GPS hire and £150 fuel allowance
· Accommodation: 3 nights’ luxury 4-star hotel accommodation in Copenhagen, with breakfast
· Viking Ship Museum: Includes museum admission, 1 hour guided tour of 5 Viking Ships, mead/apple juice tasting and 1 hour 20-minute boat ride
· Viking Open-Air Museum: Includes general admission
· Forest Tower and Zipline Adventure: (Allow half day) Includes admission to Scandinavia’s tallest observation tower and ziplining experience
· Travel Insurance
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
· Prize is for 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old;
· The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;
· At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel;
· Economy roundtrip flights from London (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to Copenhagen, Denmark; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;
· Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;
· A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation;
· Accommodation based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old sharing a quadruple occupancy hotel accommodation in Copenhagen for 3 nights;
· Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion;
· Accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients;
· The prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;
· All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion;
· Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;
· Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 70 or over;
· All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time;
· Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;
· Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available;
· All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests;
· The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday;
· Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time;
· For the rental car, the car type is subject to availability, the named driver must be aged 21 or over, with a full clean driving license that has been held for over one year, any drivers aged 25 or under, or with less than three years’ driving experience, may need to pay a supplementary cost for car rental; if driving license is not fully printed in English an International Driving Permit/ international driver’s license or other paperwork may be required; a credit card (not a debit card) in the name of the driver with available funds (value advised upon booking) will be required by the car rental company in order for the driver to collect the car;
· The minimum age for the sailing trip is 4 years;
· The forest adventure is closed November - March, this tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, those with walking difficulties, back problems, heart disease or wheelchair users, additional requirements may apply for the ziplining activity and will vary by course, the minimum age for the children’s course is 3 years old;
6. Winner's details
The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to ‘How to Train Your Dragon’, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG. Winners who wish to object to publication of their surname and county, should notify Cineworld in advance of the Closing Date by using the
online contact form. Further details about entrant’s rights in relation to their personal data are set out in the Cineworld Privacy Policy (available at www.cineworld.com).
7. Promoter and Promoter's Rights
The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG (“Cineworld”). Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
8. Limitation of Liability
Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Promotion.
- Exclusions
Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the Prize package is excluded.
10. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Data Protection
All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas' Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at
www.cineworld.com) and only used for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and sharing the winner’s details with the Prize Provider to enable the Prize Provider to administer the Prize.
